Information regarding the resumption of passenger flights


From January 1st, the ban on flights from the United Kingdom to Lithuania will no longer be in place. All passengers arriving to Lithuania from the United Kingdom will be required to hold a negative Covid-19 test result conducted no later than 48 hours before arrival. Arriving passengers can also conduct a mandatory Covid-19 test after arriving to Lithuania. Regardless of the test result, all passengers arriving to Lithuania from the United Kingdom must self-isolate for 10 days. For clarifications regarding flight schedule, tickets and refunds, please contact your air carrier.

On December 16th, new national lockdown measures have been enforced, limiting movement between internal regions of Lithuania. Flights to and from Lithuanian Airports will continue to operate as per schedule. Passengers holding a valid flight ticket/reservation can cross borders of internal regions when heading to or from Vilnius/Kaunas/Palanga Airport. Find more info here

Wearing a protective face mask at Lithuanian Airports remains mandatory for all passengers older than 6 years of age. Passengers can temporarily remove face masks while visiting the airports' cafes and restaurants.

Foreigners arriving to Lithuania and seeking to avoid self-isolation must within 24 hours after arrival contact the Coronavirus hotline (phone no. 1808 or +370 (37) 367 963) or register for a test at a private clinic. A Covid test result brought to Lithuania from a foreign country is no longer valid.
